We offer single, double, and triple pane window replacements. Our double and triple pane windows come double sealed so that we can offer an extended 12 year warranty on our windows at no additional cost to you. Our windows are all customized for your home. We will contact you shortly thereafter with an exact price of your job. Once we get a go ahead from you it usually takes about a week to a week and a half for us to install your windows.

There are some great upgrades that we can offer you. If you’re finding that you are hearing lots of noise from planes trains or automobiles we could installed laminated glass units. Laminated glass is made up of two panes of glass bonded together by one or more interlayers of polyvinyl butyral. This type of glass is very effective as a sound barrier. It is also used as a safety glass due to it’s unique property to hold together even when broken. It is used in car windshields and skylights. Because it holds together when broken it is also very effective as a security measure.

We have a couple upgrades that are very effective in adding to the insulation properties of a sealed unit. We offer both low-e and argon filled sealed units. Low-e stands for low-emissivity . Emissivity is the relative ability of a surface to reflect or emit heat by radiation. The lower the emissivity, the less heat is transmitted through a window system. Low-e windows have a coating applied to the insides of the glass within a sealed unit. These coatings reflect radiant infrared energy, thus keeping radiant heat on the same side of the glass from which it originated, while letting visible light pass. This results in more efficient windows because the heat originating from indoors in winter is reflected back inside, while infrared heat radiation from the sun during summer is reflected away, keeping it cooler inside. When replacing your regular units with low-e windows you will notice a difference in not only your energy bill but also your comfort at home. Not only do low-e units protect your home from heat transfer, they also block harmful UV rays that can harm your skin, and fade your floors and furniture. The best part of all is that this upgrade is available for just a fraction more than a regular sealed unit.

Argon gas units are also available. Argon is an inert, non-toxic, colorless gas which improves the thermal performance of the unit. It is the third most common gas in the earth’s atmosphere. Making it even more common than carbon dioxide. Argon’s thermal conductivity is about two-thirds then that of air. It can be purchased in a unit on it’s own or in conjunction with a low-e coating.

Patio doors are often a standard size (34” x 76” or 47” x 76”). If you’re patio door needs repair or replacement please give the glass a rough measure so we can determine if your door’s sealed unit is a custom or standard size. We have patio door track and rollers as well if your door needs an adjustment or new parts to help it slide better. We will clean up the broken glass for you when we come out to measure. All patio door glass should be tempered which means when it breaks it breaks into a million little pieces. If it is shattered but holding together please be extremely careful with it as it will probably come tumbling down if agitated.
